Our Pools
Indoor Pool
The indoor pool offers a hot, sheltered geothermal pool experience that can be enjoyed in all weather.
Historically operated at approximately 40°C, the indoor pool is a popular option for visitors looking for a hot soak, in a relaxed environment.
The indoor pool is part of general admission and is supported by the same customer safety and supervision expectations as the wider venue.
It is well suited to customers who want a slower, warmer and more sheltered experience than the larger outdoor recreation pool.

Outdoor Pool
The outdoor pool is the heart of the Kaipātiki Hot Springs family experience. It provides a large open-air space for swimming, relaxing, playing and spending time together.
The pool is naturally heated using geothermal water and has historically operated as a 33m outdoor pool heated to approximately 32°C, including a gently sloping beach-style area suited to younger children under active adult supervision.
The outdoor area is popular during weekends, public holidays, school holidays and summer, with nearby picnic areas, shade, food options and access to the wider venue facilities. It is a great option for whānau, friends, school groups, clubs and visitors looking for a relaxed geothermal day out close to Auckland.
Water-slide availability varies by day, season, staffing, weather and operational conditions. Please check current venue updates before visiting if slides are a key part of your visit.
